My primary research and study of the American Civil War is related to events that occurred in North Carolina, with a focus on Sherman’s Carolinas Campaign of 1865.

  1. Fayetteville Arsenal – specific to its operation during the American Civil War.

  3. Union logistics operations along the Carolina Coasts in support of Sherman’s advance through the states. 
  4. Photographs of military artifacts found in North Carolina that are specific to combat operations related to the 1865 Carolinas Campaign.
